I grew up in Nottingham but I have been lucky to live in places such as Cyprus, Germany , New Zealand and Scotland. Living in different countries has broadened my global perspectives on culture. I would would describe myself as compassionate, non-judgmental and open minded with a positive view of difference and diversity within society and culturally.
I have been a primary school teacher for over 20 years. I bring this experience into my counselling work as I have experience of neurodiversity and ADHD. I now do this alongside counselling and love the 2 very different work environments, whilst at the heart is my passion for people as individuals.
I love music and like nothing better than a concert! I also like pottering around outside with my rescue dogs. I recently rehomed 6 ex-factory chickens who are doing well with TLC!
